Zombies are enemies in Phantasy Star IV which appear on the planet Dezolis.
Characteristics[]
These zombies have a humanoid appearance. Their skin is green, like that of the Dezolians, as they are the remnants of the strange virus which spread throughout the planet. They are slow, but they can deal a lot of damage and even cause status ailments to Chaz and his party.
Creation[]
These zombies are created when the unknown virus claims the life of a person. This virus is the same one that afflicted Rasha. The Espers remain in the towns to attempt to help the victims, but they are able to do little more than extend their lives. The virus is finally eradicated by Chaz and his party once they clear the Garuberk tower of its infestation.
